ICF -Vancouver Coach Federation

The Coach Giving Committee has been working on the following exciting initiatives In the 2010-011 Board Year:

• Bringing all volunteer coaching initiatives through the ICF Vancouver  Chapter under the umbrella of 'Coach Giving'
• Identifying meaningful volunteer coaching projects that will bring our services to the communities in which we live and work
• Increasing visibility within the membership for volunteer coaching opportunities

Here are some of the wonderful organizations we have engaged with for volunteer coaching:

Minerva Foundation - Supporting women who are re entering the work force

A Chance to Choose" - Supporting at-risk youth who have just completed a 15-week pre-employment team building & career development program

Vantage Point - Building leadership in the volunteer Sector

Rotary - Coaching ethics & values in high schools - This program is already active within several High Schools in the West Vancouver School District under the direction of Karen Harrison

If you have volunteered your coaching services or offered pro bono coaching in the past, you know the tremendous value you provide and the satisfaction of giving back to those who would possibly be unable to benefit from this amazing profession of coaching. 

Volunteer-coaching is also a great way to build your skills, experience, and hours of coaching!

 The Coach Giving Committee would like the names of members who may be interested in volunteering their coaching in some capacity.  If you are a Certified Vancouver ICF Chapter Member and are interested in volunteering your coaching services, we'd love to hear from you!   Please indicate which of the organizations/programs you are most interested in working with.
