I'm excited to announce that I'm launching a new workshop called Getting Things Done® with OmniFocus. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, August 10 from 1-5pm at the Macfanatic training centre in the heart of Gastown. Enrollment will be limited to only eight participants to ensure that you have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
I've received very positive feedback from my GTD talks, including the one that I gave at the ICF Vancouver chapter meeting back in April. I find that people really resonate with the GTD approach to "Stress Free Productivity", but get stuck when it comes to putting this methodology into practice in their day-to-day lives. That's what prompted me to create this workshop.
Being a long-time Mac user, I chose OmniFocus as the application to focus on. OmniFocus is a professional personal task management solution, and one of the few GTD applications that is endorsed by the David Allen Company.
Join the workshop on August 10 and learn:
- The basics principles of the GTD® methodology.
- Convenient ways to capture everything that has your attention into OmniFocus.
- How to configure OmniFocus to match your personal and professional lifestyle.
- How to create custom Perspectives – subsets of your tasks and projects.
- How to take control of your e-mail using OmniFocus’ Mail integration.
- How to use OmniFocus on the go on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
