Workshop Promo | Getting Things Done® with OmniFocus • September 23, 2011

Tim

Do you often feel overwhelmed with tasks, e-mails and life in general? Do you find yourself complaining about not having enough hours in the day? If you own a Mac (and optionally an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad) this workshop is for you! It's an opportunity to learn an effective approach to productivity in concert with a professional task manager in a fun and interactive environment.

Getting Things Done® with OmniFocus is being offered again on Friday, September 23 from 1-5pm at the stylish Macfanatic training centre in the heart of Gastown. Enrollment is limited to only eight participants to ensure that you have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Join the workshop on September 23 and learn:

  • The basics principles of the GTD® methodology - building on what I talked about at the ICF Vancouver Chapter Meeting back in April.
  • Convenient ways to capture everything that has your attention into OmniFocus.
  • How to configure OmniFocus to match your personal and professional lifestyle.
  • How to create custom Perspectives – subsets of your tasks and projects.
  • How to take control of your e-mail using OmniFocus’ Mail integration.
  • How to use OmniFocus on the go on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

As a member of ICF Vancouver you're eligible for a $50 discount. Just click the "Have Registration Code" button on the second page of the registration form and enter GTDFANATIC.

OmniFocus is produced by a Seattle-based company called The Omni Group. I'm excited to announce that two people from The Omni Group will be present at the September 23 workshop. They're producing a film focused on my experiences with GTD and OmniFocus and will be on hand to answer any questions that aren't covered by the workshop.
