Intro

Hi coaches

Do you have a book or article you have been meaning to read, or would like to hear others' opinions on it?

I am scheduling a book club series oriented towards organisational/leadership topics and I was wondering if you wanted to lead a discussion about it.  No ICF membership needed. Pick date/ time (e.g. early, mid or late day) and location of your choice, typically a restaurant with a back room or a quiet table that seats up to 9-ish max but it can be a home, library, etc.

The first book is TALENT IS OVER-RATED.  A breakfast meeting is set for September 28th at Langara Golf Club hosted by Sue Drinnan. Please RSVP to Sue Drinnan.

The most participation I got on other years was 11.  A lot of fun, and often gets off topic so you'll need a chair and a whip.  Please invite somebody to co-facilitate with you: I encourage co-facilitation.  I need to complete the schedule for the year before Sept 15th, ideally.  Please forward to other coaches; first come first served.  Below are expressions of interest, TBC.

Meetings are free but participant coaches buy their own coffee/food if at a restaurant.  Facilitators often get their coffee paid for but not always.

Participants must have read the book, or if it is a HBR PDF for example it gets circulated to those who RSVP.  The sessions typically  begin by addressing the 3 pointed questions pre-circulated by the facilitator.  Which is why we need such a long lead time.

Please pass it on to other coaches who do work in organisations.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
