2010-2011 Vision for Programs
The appearance of fall offers up a feeling of back-to-school energy along with the crisp night air and the return of our monthly Chapter meetings.
I spent some time this summer thinking about the Programs Committee, and what I could bring to the table as Chair. The thing that inspired me most was reviewing the survey many of you responded to last year. What quickly became clear were two areas of focus: business development and coaching mastery or skill development.
Business development is such a broad topic, but the survey showed a particular interest in the following:
• Social media
Skill development also covers a spectrum:
• Developing mastery
I kept this in mind as I began confirming presenters for the fall meetings, and I'm pleased to say the first two are masters in skill development while the third touches on both areas of focus.
Back in June we were fortunate to have Rob Malec share his expertise on Getting the Fees You Deserve. You can delve further into this business building topic at Rob's upcoming workshop on Oct. 6.
